Booking a Flight
Yes, please add your Frequent Flyer in the booking process. If you need to add your Frequent Flyer number after you have finalised your booking please contact our Customer Care Team.
Generally, you can book up to seven people in a single booking provided there are seats available. If you are booking a bigger group you may have to do multiple bookings with smaller passengers per booking.
Yes, you must book your ticket as per your passport. For example, if your full name is "James", don’t book "Jim". Also, another example book Samuel Robert Cook, NOT Bob or Robert, even if you common use name is Bob.
There is the opportunity to book travel insurance in the booking process, alternatively via a separate tab on the website. Travel insurance is non-refundable once travel has commenced. A partial refund of the policy prior to travel commencing is possible.
Once you have clicked the payment button, a confirmation itinerary with a basic PDF with your ABY confirmation number, outlining your purchased flight will be emailed to you. Within a few hours, a detailed itinerary or e-ticket will be emailed with your booking details and airline reference number. Should you not receive this within 24 hours please check your spam and/or junk folders, if it still cannot be located please contact our Customer Care Team.
Infants are deemed as those travellers that have not reached the age of two at the time of travel completion. Infants do not get a seat. If you require a seat for an infant then you will need to book a child fare. You still enter the correct date of birth. If in doubt please check with our Customer Care Team.
Do not enter any special characters including hyphens. For example "Emily-Jane" is simply entered as "EmilyJane". The surname Wayne-Smith surname is entered as "WayneSmith".
If you have a name longer than 40 characters, only add your first name and surname leave out any middle names. If still too long please contact our Customer Care Team to verify the correct format in order to avoid complications at the airport.
Do not email if you realise the error on the same day as you made the booking. Please phone the Customer Care team immediately. Our Customer Care team is available 24/7. If you discover the error on another day and your travel is more than 4 days away, please email via the webform on the site, advising the details that need to be corrected. Please note that fees apply for making name corrections and date changes as per our T&Cs.

Enter your name within the 'Last Name' field, enter the first letter of your name within the 'First Name' field.
For example, Madonna would be entered as:
First Name - M
Last Name - Madonna
This generates when your booking is made. You will find it on your e-ticket which you will receive via email. You will need it if you want to access the airlines "Manage My Booking" site.
